Sedan driver booked for DUI after fiery crash in Orange County

A motorist was arrested for driving under the influence after a fiery crash into parked cars in Orange overnight.

The Orange Police Department confirmed to KTLA that officers were dispatched to a traffic collision report at Main and Maple streets at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday. Arriving units found a white sedan, which had been traveling northbound on Main, had smashed into a parked pickup truck, which caused a chain reaction crash.

Two of the vehicles involved caught fire, per Orange police. In addition, two people inside the sedan were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment after the crash, which left them and the driver trapped briefly.
