Bianco visits North State today — Jensen Hall at 5 p.m.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, the man who wants to be California’s next governor, returns to Jensen Hall on the Lassen County Fairgrounds at 5 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 9. The free event is sponsored by Lassen County District 5 Supervisor Jason Ingram and the Cole family.

The candidate also has scheduled a meet and greet at 11 a.m. at Quincy’s Spring of Hope Christian Fellowship, sponsored by Ingram and Susan Peters.

Bianco, a 30-year veteran of the sheriff’s office, currently serves as the chief law enforcement officer of Riverside County, overseeing the county’s five jail facilities, six court buildings, a civil bureau, the Coroner’s Bureau, Public Administrator’s Office, 12 patrol stations, 17 contract cities, 4,200 dedicated employees and an operating budget of just over $1 billion.

Bianco is a member of the California State Coroners’ Association, National Sheriffs’ Association, Western States Sheriffs’ Association and is on the Board of Directors for the California State Sheriffs’ Association and Major County Sheriffs of America Association…
