COSTA MESA, Calif. — Eichholtzis a new kid on the retail block at the South Coast Collection (SoCo) luxury home furnishings and design center in southern California, and the store’s owners say they are ready to make their official debut later this month as a high-end destination, design source and community anchor.
Following a soft launch in December 2025, industry veterans and California-based duo Michael Webster and James Lunsford are finalizing preparations for their new Eichholtz store’s grand opening at the end of February. The more than 8,400-square-foot retail space is part of a roster of luxury retailers at SoCo that includes Calligaris, Design Within Reach, Rejuvenation and Roche Bobois, among others, and the owners said the flagship showroom will offer customers a full line of high-end whole-home products designed in Europe and featuring upholstery, case goods, cabinetry, wall art and accessories, lighting and rugs.
“When customers visit, we want them to feel like they are coming into our home,” said Webster. “We want to embrace experiential retail, and we’ll have an espresso bar, even dog treats. We plan to be part of the group of high-end furniture retailers that are changing the retail experience and story.”
