Gas prices on the rise across SoCal

LOS ANGELES – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County resumed increasing Thursday, rising eight- tenths of a cent to $4.627, one day after a 20-day streak of increases ended when it dropped three-tenths of a cent.

The average price rose 26.5 cents during the streak, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is at its highest amount since Dec. 8 and 5 cents more than one week ago and 26.8 higher than one month ago. It is 16.2 cents less than one year ago and has dropped $1.867 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022…
