Authorities are investigating two pedestrian fatality incidents this weekend.
The first involves a driver who caused a fatal hit and run collision in Jurupa Valley. This happened around midnight Saturday morning near Van Buren Boulevard and Jurupa Road. Witnesses say a pedestrian was trying to cross the street but was hit by a sedan which fled the scene. That person was pronounced dead at the scene, their identity has not yet been released.
