Palm Springs, California – Windblown desert dust is pushing unhealthy particle pollution across parts of Southern California this evening, triggering an air quality alert that stretches from the Inland Empire to the Coachella Valley through Thursday evening.
According to the South Coast Air Quality Management District, elevated particulate levels are expected from 6 p.m. Wednesday until 6 p.m. Thursday across portions of Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
