Police recovered a loaded handgun and several drug-related items during a recent vehicle search in Orange County, authorities said Sunday.
La Habra’s Special Investigations Unit made the discovery during what officers described as an “occupied vehicle check,” the department said in a Facebook post.
An image shared by the agency shows the recovered evidence, including nitrous oxide canisters, rolling papers and a handgun with its cartridge removed.
