Costco to open first standalone gas station in Southern California

Costco plans to open its first standalone gas station in Southern California this summer as drivers continue to search for cheaper fuel options amid high prices.

The new gas station, which will include 20 fueling dispensers, two pump stations each, for a total of 40 pumps, will replace the old Bed Bath & Beyond. The gas station will be located at 25732 El Paseo in Mission Viejo.

City documents describe the project as Costco’s largest and only independent fueling facility proposed in the area to date.
