Road Rage Incident in Orange County Escalates Into Social Media Threats, Cyclist Says

A tense road rage confrontation between a driver and a cyclist in Orange County has reportedly escalated beyond the roadway, with the bicyclist claiming he later received threatening messages on social media.

Confrontation on Pacific Coast Highway

According to Luke Fetzer, the incident happened last Saturday while he was riding with friends along the Pacific Coast Highway near Corona Del Mar.

Fetzer said a driver in a blue BMW began behaving aggressively—swerving near cyclists, honking repeatedly, and shouting at the group.

“In the moment, I reacted by squirting water from my bottle at the car while it was stopped at a light,” he explained.
