Hernandez Terminated as Chief of Staff for Supervisor Perez
RIVERSIDE— Two days after Steven A. Hernandez pleaded guilty to a felony conflict-of-interest charge, Fourth District Supervisor V, Manuel Perez. has fired Hernandez as his chief of staff.
“Steven Hernandez no longer works’ for the County of Riverside. Supervision Perez terminated his employment today (Thursday, March 26), a spokesperson for Perez’s campaign told Uken Report in a text message. No further details were available.
Hernandez, 43, has served as chief of staff, a county government position, to Fourth District Supervisor V. Manuel Perez for 8.5 years. He has worked for the county for about two decades. His annual salary is $182,367, which he continued to receive while on indefinite paid administrative leave…
