SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Officials with San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE) issued a statement regarding Thursday night’s massive power outage that affected approximately 103,092 customers in North County San Diego and Orange County.
The power outage began around 7:41 p.m. on Thursday and affected nearly 60,000 residents throughout North County, with areas from Encinitas through Carlsbad and parts of Escondido impacted.
Power was restored in all areas around 8:50 p.m.
