A Walmart Supercenter began serving customers in January 2026 at 14100 Limonite Avenue as part of the Eastvale Crossings development at Limonite Avenue and Archibald Avenue. The store brings a full-size Walmart location to the growing community and anchors the broader retail project.
The opening follows years of planning after the project was first proposed in 2017. Construction moved forward in the mid-2020s, leading to completion in early 2026.
The Site’s Evolution: From Farmland to Retail Hub
The land at Limonite Avenue and Archibald Avenue has changed significantly over time. Aerial imagery from the 1960s shows rural farmland with dairy operations. By the 1990s, the area remained largely agricultural, with only scattered structures.
