Lack of hot water closes 2 Coachella Valley eateries temporarily

Two Coachella Valley restaurants were temporarily shut down by Riverside County health inspectors this past week, according to reports.

RD RNNR in La Quinta and Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar in Palm Desert both did not reach the minimum hot water temperature requirements when health inspectors arrived. As a result, both facilities were closed. However, RD RNNR was able to get its plumbing fixed by the end of the inspections, while inspectors returned the following day to Tommy Bahama. Both eateries were then approved to resume operations and food production.

Other eateries in the Coachella Valley, such as Dave’s Hot Chicken in Indio, and Five Guys Burgers & Fries in Palm Springs, passed their most recent inspections…
