A SoCal man has been arrested after allegedly stealing belongings from people’s cars while they were at funerals – later leading authorities on a pursuit – and there could be more victims out there.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced that starting in March 2026, several people reported thefts from their victims while attending funeral services at a local cemetery, the name of which was not disclosed.
“During these incidents, the suspect stole various items, including credit cards, which were later used to commit fraudulent transactions,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement released Sunday…
