Dozens of people were detained after authorities raided a suspected illegal gambling den in Orange County – a raid that came after a man’s body was discovered a short distance away, officials said.
Deputies responded to a report of a man’s body in an alley near Pacific and Main streets in Stanton around 5:30 a.m. Easter morning. Investigators determined he had been the victim of a homicide, although the cause of death was not released.
