FS Police host regional school resource meeting

The Fontana School Police Department (FSPD) recently hosted a School Resource Officer Association of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties meeting, bringing together regional law enforcement and school safety partners to strengthen collaboration and coordinate proactive safety efforts across local schools.

The event was held on March 24, and the association brought together representatives from a variety of local law enforcement agencies and school safety organizations to discuss topics such as current safety trends on school campuses, ways to enhance collaboration between school sites and law enforcement, and best practices to strengthen student safety and well-being.

FSPD Chief of Police Rich Randolph led the event. Randolph’s department is taking a leadership role in fostering cross-departmental communication and collaboration to enhance campus safety and emergency preparedness throughout participating school districts and agencies.
