Deputies with the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force arrested a woman and seized more than 500 guns while serving a search warrant at a home on the 26000 block of Sultanas Road in Homeland, Calif. On April 17.
The suspect, 45-year-old Maria Force, is suspected of attempting to sell the guns illegally. The seized guns were a variety of rifles, shotguns and handguns, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said.
Force was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on multiple charges, including illegally selling firearms, selling firearms with altered serial numbers, grand theft of firearms and possession of a concealed firearm.
This investigation is ongoing. Authorities are not releasing more information about the case at this time…
