One person was killed and three others were hurt overnight when a driver plowed into a crowd on purpose in Riverside, according to police.
Officers received numerous calls at 12:39 a.m. Sunday of a fight in the street near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and 5th Street, the Riverside Police Department said. During the unrest, a driver struck multiple people.
One person died at the scene. Two people who were critically hurt were taken to Riverside Community Hospital and a fourth victim was also taken to an undisclosed hospital. The severity of the injuries of the fourth person was not clear…
