LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – A man was sentenced to seven years of probation after pleading guilty in a case tied to the death of a 3-year-old child.
Reynaldo Cruz pleaded guilty to injury to a child with intent to cause bodily injury and waived a jury trial. According to the Webb County District Attorney’s Office, Cruz was sentenced to seven years to serve and probated for seven years. If he violates probation, he will have to serve seven years in jail.
