After decades of questions, Elisa Roberson’s family receives public apology from Aransas Pass

ARANSAS PASS, Texas — The family of Elisa Roberson, the Aransas Pass girl who disappeared in 1989, is speaking publicly after receiving a formal apology from city leaders during a recent City Council meeting.

Aransas Pass Mayor Jason Knight addressed the Roberson family during the meeting, acknowledging the years of pain and uncertainty they have endured.

“I wish to extend my sincere apologies to the Roberson family as well as close friends for what you have endured over the past years,” Knight said. “And I mean that with all my heart. I know this group stands with me.”…
