CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Recent rainfall has brought more than just relief from dry conditions across the Coastal Bend. It has also created favorable conditions for mosquitoes, prompting local health officials to ramp up prevention efforts.
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District hosted its first of five drive-thru mosquito prevention event on Monday evening, providing residents with free supplies designed to help protect themselves and their homes from mosquitoes.
