A Bishop Police Department officer injured while attempting to stop a fleeing suspect is now recovering at home after being released from the hospital.
According to the department, the incident happened between approximately 2:30 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. on June 28 near the southbound access road of U.S. Highway 77 and FM 70 in Bishop.
