A series of traffic accidents on westbound South Padre Island Drive (SPID) caused significant delays for motorists near the Ayers Street overpass at about 12:30p on Tuesday.
The initial incident was a three-vehicle pile-up on the westbound SPID at the Ayers Street overpass. Despite the severity of the collision, no injuries were reported from the crash.
