The City of Corpus Christi will accept applications for its Minor Home Repair Program from Oct. 13 through Oct. 27.
The program will award grants of up to $24,999 to 38 eligible homeowners for health, safety, and habitability repairs, the release said. Eligible repairs include roofing, plumbing, electrical work, heating and air conditioning systems, minor structural repairs and accessibility modifications.
To qualify, applicants must have at least one identified critical repair. They must also be 62 or older, be a veteran, be the surviving spouse of a veteran, or have a disability or live with a household member who has one, according to the city…
