CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (KPLC) – McNeese entered Monday night’s game at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi with a 16-game losing streak to the Islanders dating back to January 10th, 2013, and they hadn’t beaten the Islanders on the road since January 7th, 2012. For a majority of the game on Monday night, it appeared as if Corpus Christi would extend their winning streak over the Cowboys to 17 as they put together a 20-0 run from 3:03 remaining in the first half to 13:25 remaining in the second half to take a 48-30 lead with just over 13 minutes remaining in the game.
