Ingleside Index
Yeraldy Zuniga, 28, grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and eventually moved to the Gulf shores and Ingleside after meeting her husband Zachary, 30, a Kiewit Offshore Services employee. The McAllen native and her spouse are raising two small children and she sought work from home that she would enjoy and offer a second income for their household, creating ‘Candy Coated’ in 2022, single-handedly producing sweet treats for sale, using Facebook to help market her product line ( https://www.facebook . com/groups/814121626243080/ user/100092428097032/).

Some of Yeraldy’s most popular items include chocolate dipped strawberries, ‘chocoflans’ – a traditional Mexican dessert – and milk-or-almond chocolate coated treats that can vary from pretzels to apples, and much more, the customer playing an important role in dictating what they want, able to custom order.
