Police Arrest Several Texas Dairy Queen Employees for Selling Meth in ‘Operation Blizzard’

Officers also discovered that methamphetamines were being trafficked at additional locations around the state

Police in Texas uncovered a secret drug operation at Dairy Queen that involved several employees selling methamphetamines out of the restaurant.

The investigation, which was aptly named “Operation Blizzard,” began in June 2023 when the Clifton Police Department discovered that employees at a local Dairy Queen restaurant were using the establishment as a place to sell drugs.

According to a press release from Clifton PD , over several months, “officers were able to set up undercover drug buys from this location on numerous occasions.” They also discovered that methamphetamines were being trafficked at additional locations around Clifton.

Beginning on Jan. 16, police arrested 10 individuals who had been selling drugs. They are facing a variety of charges, including possession of controlled substances in drug-free zone and manufacturing or delivering controlled substances in a drug-free zone.
