VICTORIA, Texas – Around 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 officers with the Bishop Police Department arrested Douglas Zelkowski, 41, of Victoria on charges of indecent assault. It happened in the 100 block of Badger Lane.
Officers investigated reports a man inappropriately touched a child at a school sponsored athletic event.
Officers also made contact with a witness and the victim. The suspect was found a short time later.
Zelkowski was placed under arrest on scene without incident and later transported to the Nueces County Jail on charges of indecent assault.
This is an ongoing criminal investigation and additional criminal charges may be filed.
