Lake Nasworthy now infested with zebra mussels

Another Texas lake has been struck by zebra mussels, this time near San Angelo.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has designated Lake Nasworthy as “infested” with zebra mussels, a non-native shellfish that attaches to hard surfaces and can cause damage to boats, municipal water supplies and other aquatic infrastructure.
