While acknowledging that some obstacles still exist, Ingleside ISD Superintendent Scott Kilgore said that the district’s accountability results from the Texas Education Agency is further evidence of building upon a strong foundation laid before him in response to the Texas Education Agency’s 2023 accountability ratings that were released on Aug. 24.
Ingleside ISD received an overall “B” grade with an 83 out of 100 in the ratings. The district also earned “B” ratings in Student Achievement (80 out of 100), School Progress (83 out of 100), and Closing the Gaps (83 out of 100) according to performance data from the TEA. That score has Ingleside ISD as the highest-rated district, surpassing all other area districts in San Patricio County.
Among individual campuses, Mircovich Elementary and the Ingleside Primary School both received a C rating (78 out of 100) while Ingleside High School received a B rating (81 out of 100) and Leon Taylor Middle School received an A grade with a score of 91 out of 100 for the district’s highest rating…
