As it continues to exhibit serious growth, there is no doubt that the city is having to move forward with infrastructure, long-term planning, and more. But officials say they also don’t want to forget what makes Portland the way it – a commitment to building community and raising families.
During the annual State of the City address on May 1 hosted by the Portland Chamber of Commerce at the Portland Community Center, Portland Mayor Kathy Skurow and Mayor Pro Tem John Green expanded on where the city has been. Furthermore, they detailed where the city has yet to go and where it will be moving forward.
