Six-month construction project aims for smoother access to South Side H-E-B Plus

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi is making efforts to redo a decades-old street on the South Side.

Huntwick Avenue significantly deteriorated over time since traffic frequently uses it to access H-E-B Plus from South Staples Street. It was built with asphalt in the mid-1990s by a private developer.
