South Texas Heat Advisory: Laredo and Alice Could Hit 110°F by Tuesday Afternoon

Corpus Christi, Texas – Triple-digit heat will grip South Texas on Tuesday, with temperatures climbing as high as 110°F and heat index values reaching 106°F across six counties from 1 to 8 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, a heat advisory is in effect for La Salle, McMullen, Live Oak, Webb, Duval, and Jim Wells counties. Residents in cities such as Laredo, Alice, Cotulla, and Freer should limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours.
