Real estate agents stand strong against stalker amid safety concerns

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Ashley Babbitt, a former realtor who now works on the other side of the sale, decided she wouldn’t be silent anymore about a local man who developed a dangerous fixation on her. It all began as him posing as a protentional buyer.

“It’s not just calling and texting repeatedly,” Babbit said. “It’s making fake Facebooks, putting up information about me with threats in in it, it’s hacking my home Wi-Fi, telling me what my children were watching upstairs,” she said.

“One time he told me he was sitting outside my house,” Babbitt said. “He was going to rape me and my children.”…
