CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Attorney Thomas J. Henry said the “prolonged indecision” over the American Bank Center naming rights is eroding public trust, making the statement in a news release Wednesday.
“The prolonged indecision has raised serious concerns about local government accountability and respect for the public’s time and resources,” the release states.
City Councilman Mark Scott has maintained that he doesn’t see the need to rush the process, saying he’s not opposed to naming the facility, but like the Memorial Coliseum didn’t have a sponsored name, this building doesn’t need one, either…
