CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Fire crews responded Friday to a blaze at an abandoned home on the city’s North Side, where investigators are now working to determine the cause.
The fire broke out just after noon on Kennedy Avenue near Winnebago Street. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the boarded-up structure.
Crews had to remove security boards to access the home and quickly put out the fire. No injuries were reported…
