Police discovered a body near the Aransas Pass city transfer station recently, and investigators believe it may connect to a local missing person case.
Officers from the Aransas Pass Police Department, working alongside a Texas Department of Public Safety Texas Ranger and a search team with tracking K-9 dogs, found a deceased person in dense brush south of the city’s transfer station on Monday.
The body has been sent to the Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office, though the medical examiner hasn’t completed the final identification yet. Police say the investigation is still in its early phases…
