CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — When deadly floodwaters ripped through the Texas Hill Country, many were left asking a chilling question: Why didn’t we see it coming?
That question is now being looked at here by the Nueces River Authority. Executive Director John Byrum says a new grant from the Texas Water Development Board is helping them evaluate how well their flood warning system actually works.
