CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 12-year-old boy is sharing a message of gratitude and safety after a frightening experience at the beach that ended with the help of strangers.
Dillon Leal said he was boogie boarding with a friend when they were suddenly caught in a rip current. He recalled the moment the water beneath them began to shift and pull them out to sea.
