CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A juvenile has died after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot on Friday, according to a press release from the Corpus Christi Police Department. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Horne Rd., where officers responded to a major crash involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.
The investigation revealed that the juvenile was kneeling on a skateboard and traveling north in the complex parking lot when the driver, who was parked in a parking spot, began to back up and struck the juvenile.
