CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD) is examining and evaluating a new law prohibiting students from using their cell phones during the school day.
CCISD school officials are reviewing the policy ahead of its meeting agenda to ensure it follows the new law. Texas House Bill 1481 prohibits the use of not only cell phones but all electronics, including smartwatches.
