Richard King High School Royalette makes history, honored by Corpus Christi City Council

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi City Council took a moment Tuesday to recognize a standout student from Richard King High School who has made history and inspired a community.

Alison Lopez, a senior and member of the King High School Royallettes drill team, was honored for becoming the first student with Down syndrome in Corpus Christi Independent School District history to earn four consecutive years as a letterman in drill team.
