Bishop Police mourn Captain Macias; public visitation set for Friday

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Funeral services have been announced for Captain Tony Lee Macias, a dedicated and beloved member of the Bishop Police Department who passed away over the weekend after a courageous battle with cancer.

A private family viewing will be held this Friday, followed by a public visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary in Kingsville. The services will conclude with a final tribute to Captain Macias, including a 21-gun salute and a final radio call in his honor.
