Two arrested in vehicle burglary in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two 19-year-olds were arrested following a vehicle burglary on the 3800 block of S. Alameda St., according to the Corpus Christi Police Department. The suspects were apprehended after officers received detailed information from the victim and assistance from nearby security cameras.

The incident occurred on July 25, 2025, at approximately 11:35 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the scene. The victim reported witnessing his vehicle being broken into and money stolen shortly after leaving a nearby business. The victim provided officers with a description of the suspect and the vehicle used in the crime, and an article of clothing was left behind by the offender.

Auto Theft Task Force Detectives located the suspect vehicle in a parking lot on S. Staples St. and subsequently stopped it at the 4900 block of S. Staples St. The driver, Coreon Hudson, age 19, and passenger, Kory Williams, age 19, both of Corpus Christi, Texas, were positively identified and taken into custody without incident.
