CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police arrested a man early this morning after hitting another vehicle, causing it to steer off the highway onto Prinston Drive.
Two people are recovering after a man driving a Chevy truck along SPID crashed into a smaller truck, forcing the driver, a woman, to steer off the highway around 3 a.m. The woman was hurt and is expected to be ok. As for the suspect driving the Chevy, his vehicle was totaled, and police arrested him on DWI charges.
The victim, Mia Blakely tells our 3NEWS crew, “I was on the way home, and I see him coming from my rearview. I tried to get out of the way, but I couldn’t get out of the way. And next thing you know, I was actively on the freeway. The next thing you know, I’m off the freeway. He hit me and then he hit me really, really hard.”…
