Texas oil and gas leaders convene in Corpus Christi for Coastal Energy Series

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Energy professionals and local officials gathered in Corpus Christi on Monday for the latest stop in the Coastal Energy Series, an event hosted by the Texas Oil & Gas Association to connect industry stakeholders and highlight the region’s role in the global energy landscape.

Among those in attendance were members of the Corpus Christi City Council and Nueces County Judge Connie Scott. The event featured a keynote address from Todd Staples, president of the Texas Oil & Gas Association.

Staples emphasized the significance of the Coastal Bend region, pointing to its role in natural gas exports. “Exports of natural gas across the globe is changing the global landscape… much of that through LNG right here with Cheniere in Corpus Christi,” he said. “So we want to celebrate the things that are making the Texas economy strong but also stabilizing our world with global energy security.”…
