Stabbing near 100 block of Clemmer and Ayers sends one to hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after being stabbed near a home in the 100 block of Clemmer Street, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Lt. Javier Cantu said the stabbing occurred around 12:57 p.m. The victim then walked across Ayers Street, leaving a trail of blood, before being found at The Ayers Market in the 3300 block of Ayers and Arlington Drive.

The man suffered lacerations to his arm and torso and was transported to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening…
