CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department received $11 million in funding to support its crime prevention efforts as part of the 2026 Crime Control and Prevention District budget.
“Right now, it funds 78 police officers,” said Assistant Police Chief David Blackmon.
