CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The final lawsuits tied to the deadly 2022 wrong-way crash on the Harbor Bridge have officially been settled, according to one of the attorneys involved in the case.
The crash, which happened on Nov. 2, 2022, claimed the lives of Mathew Banda and Betsy Mandujano, both of San Patricio County, and left a third victim, Janell Donaho, seriously injured. The incident sparked widespread public outcry — and eventually led to traffic upgrades on Highway 181, specifically aimed at preventing wrong-way drivers from entering the bridge.
