CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A trial date has been set for Devaughan Williams, the man charged with murder in the 2024 shooting death of 25-year-old Kiara Allani Smith.
Williams appeared in court Thursday morning. He is accused of fatally shooting Smith on September 7, 2024, at a residence on Green Earth Drive, located on the city’s west side. Williams later turned himself in to law enforcement and has remained in the Nueces County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
